With my sound project, i found some utube videos of the sounds of power lines.  They brought me to the issue with birds on powerlines. There are many accounts noting the damage caused from the birds weighing the cords down. A couple I found were When Birds and Power Lines Collide and Bird Resistant PowerLines. In the Bird resistant power lines it mentions how windmills and mounted structures are placed on the poles to scare the birds. I began to focus on the energy through the power lines. Does the energy of the sound waves effect the birds? Is it stimulating, or is it aggressive at times. I will use the forming of birds on a power line the erect the sounds of volts, ice breaking, tree limbs cracking, and other sounds that effect the power lines. In return, it will physically have a result on the birds posted. here are some utube videos of sound from powerlines.

"Flow in Games"

I liked "Flow in Games" from the Museum of Sound Toys. The aesthetics of the environment connect surrealistically with the Atmospheric sound. The first time I opened it I wanted to be able to have control over the object linked to the mouse, I will call it a "glow fish." The longer I Moved it around the more relaxed I became with control. The music created a atmosphere for interaction, that lead me to control the "glow fish" with the same serene mood of the game. Then, being more graceful with the "glow fish" i was able to grow the links, scoring. The goal of the designer is for the consumer to reach a state a mood to succeed. I enjoy the set of the atmosphere in how it relates to nature; in movement and sound.  The object radiate  from one another, imitating the realistic relations of creatures in the sea. the images are very simplistic and undefined, exposing a theoretical approach to deep sea creatures. I enjoy this game because it effected my overall mood while playing. It has a calming effect unlike most games.

Reaction to Promote Vote!

I feel like the interaction between the characters and the students is rememberable and effective for the participants and the hosts. More rememberable for us, from working as a group and forming a successful event that was both entertaining and advising. The process of setting up the equipment, to shooting the interaction of the awareness between the candidate characters and participants, to editing the images, i feel like i have learned a new approach of interaction from the viewer of the "screen."  Some took a more serious approach by having their photo taken with their candidate of choice, most interacted with the candidates as the media of culture would promote. Using them as stump for jokes. Im most interested in how  the mass media promoted from the internet. tv, etc. effected the response of participants.   Maybe a study could be approached with this by having the participants fill a survey related to this idea and compare in to there reactions from the shoot. I might consider using photography and editing processes for a final project.

Who are you voting for?

We decided to bring the students together to ProVote with our group project. I went to the republican and democratic headquarters for support in educating the students on the issues the stance of each candidate. To help get the word out i posted a event on facebook( http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=31775238559) and placed reminders in student's mailboxes. I also created the signup sheet for the event. Eric made a great poster, Jordan pimped out some mask. and Vaan fixed up the blogs for the students to visit to collect their images and get Voting support. DaKoda created a handout honors the student's participate and informing them about the blog. With our outfits, the lights Dakoda got for us and my camera, we got the students involved in our project and we all had fun. Here are the images i edited.
